APPEC Services

Advocacy

APPEC serves as a liaison between member institutions (and their students), the California State Legislature and other state, federal , and regional agencies that regulate (non-WASC accredited) private postsecondary educational institutions in California.

APPEC communicates to all (of the above mentioned) stakeholders, and to the media and general public, about the needs, policy positions, and contributions of member institutions and the private postsecondary sector.

Technical Assistance

APPEC assists member institutions with technical assistance as they apply for and comply with regulations related to institutional approval, accreditation and other regulatory requirements.

APPEC provides periodic workshops, seminars, in-service trainings, and advisories pertaining to rules and regulations of organizations that regulate (non-WASC accredited) private postsecondary educational institutions in California.
